Choosing the right micron in e-commerce shipments; The protection of the product during transportation is decisive in terms of bag cost and weight/pattern limits of cargo companies.

40 Microns: Standard E-Commerce Shipments

50 Micron: Medium Weight and Full Packages

50 micron may be preferred for products that move in bags, are angular or slightly heavier (e.g. shoes, book sets, small household appliances). Extra film thickness increases the flexibility during impact; Reduces stress accumulation on bag edges.

60 Microns and Above: Heavy / Sharp Edged Products

For metal parts, heavy parts or products with sharp corners, 60 microns and above should be considered. This range increases the cost; It should only be used on truly necessary posts. Alternatively, double-layer (Co-Ex) construction can provide similar protection.

Product weight and volume: The bag should not be loaded above its carrying capacity.

Internal space: Unnecessarily large bags cause the product to slip and cause point stress on the film.

Printing area: In full-surface printing, film thickness may affect the protection performance; Testing with sample is recommended.

Cargo company limits: Desi and weight limits should be planned together with the bag size.
